3. Eligibility Requirements

Provide valid identification when requested.
Provide accurate contact information.
Provide a valid mobile number and email address.
Comply with all rental policies and payment obligations.
Outdoor Gear reserves the right to refuse rentals to any individual or organization at its sole discretion.
4. Equipment Availability
All equipment displayed on our website is subject to availability.
While we strive to maintain accurate inventory information, Outdoor Gear cannot guarantee the availability of specific products at all times.
In situations where reserved equipment becomes unavailable due to damage, maintenance, previous booking extensions, or unforeseen circumstances, Outdoor Gear may:

Provide a refund for the unavailable item.
5. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after:

6. Rental Duration
The rental period begins from the time equipment is collected, delivered, or handed over to the customer.
The rental period ends only when:
The equipment has been physically returned.
Inspection is completed.
Return acceptance has been confirmed by Outdoor Gear.
Equipment remains under the responsibility of the customer throughout the rental duration.
7. Security Deposit Policy
Certain products may require a refundable security deposit.
The security deposit amount may vary depending on:

The security deposit serves as protection against:

8. Late Return Charges
Customers are required to return rented equipment on or before the agreed return date and time.
Failure to return equipment within the agreed period will attract late return charges.
The following late fee structure shall apply:

Example
If the original rental amount is ₹1,000:
Return after 2 days: ₹1,400
Return after 3 days: ₹1,700
Return after 4 days: ₹1,900
After the tenth day of delay, an additional 5% charge per day may be applied until the equipment is returned.
Outdoor Gear reserves the right to deduct applicable charges from the customer’s security deposit.
Repeated late returns may result in suspension of future rental privileges.
9. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
Use equipment carefully and responsibly.
Follow manufacturer instructions.
Use equipment only for intended purposes.
Protect equipment from theft, damage, and misuse.
Ensure proper storage during the rental period.
Return equipment in the same condition as received, allowing for normal wear and tear.
The customer assumes full responsibility for equipment from the time of handover until accepted upon return.
10. Equipment Inspection at Pickup
Customers are encouraged to inspect equipment thoroughly before leaving the pickup location or accepting delivery.
Inspection should include:

Functionality
Accessories
Zippers, buckles, straps, and fittings
Electronic functions where applicable
Any concerns should be reported immediately.
Failure to report visible issues before use shall constitute acceptance of the equipment’s condition.
11. Damage, Loss and Theft
Customers are fully responsible for all rented equipment during the rental period.

Customers are responsible for returning all supplied components.
Missing items may result in replacement charges being deducted from the security deposit or billed separately.
13. Cleaning
Equipment should be returned in a clean and reasonably maintained condition.
Outdoor Gear generally does not charge cleaning fees. However, cleaning charges may apply if the returned equipment is found to be excessively dirty, contaminated, or improperly maintained, including but not limited to:
- Mud-covered gear
- Wet tents or equipment returned without proper drying
- Food or beverage contamination
- Strong odors, including smoke or other persistent smells
- Excessive stains, dirt, or debris
Any applicable cleaning charges will be assessed based on the actual cleaning effort, materials, and time required to restore the equipment to a rentable condition.
14. Delivery and Pickup Services
Where delivery services are offered:
Delivery timelines are estimates only.
Delays caused by weather, traffic, transport disruptions, or third-party services may occur.
Customers must be available at the scheduled delivery location.
Failed delivery attempts due to customer unavailability may attract additional charges.
Pickup services may be subject to service area restrictions and scheduling availability.

Outdoor activities inherently involve risk.
